2007 Soldier Awards

Honor Our Heroes

Grace Assembly of God Church, in Greenwood, IN, host the 7th annual Honor Our Heroes celebration. Those honored were firefighters, police officers, and military, including members of the Indiana Guard Reserve.  BG Stewart Goodwin was one of the National Guardsmen in attendance. The event took place June 29th.


MAJOR Changes to 2008 Annual Training

The tentative scenario for emergency response training is:

On the morning of Saturday, 13 September, 2008 a powerful tornado hits Edinburgh and CAJMTC.  The following localized emergencies arise:  a collapsed building [rubble pile], a leak of natural gas, and various other life-threatening situations. 

In addition to the emergency exercise personnel who have not completed MEMS training will be taking the courses and examinations to complete basic certification. Remember Annual Training is not an option. It is required. Plan your schedule now.

BG Ray Phillips delivers Memorial Day Salute

BG Ray Phillips was the keynote speaker at the Memorial Day ceremony for Johnson County. General Phillips spoke about the sacrifices military men and women make for freedom. Read the Johnson County Daily Journal article here.
