More information coming soon.

18-21 Oct – SGAUS convention.  The State Guard Association will be in Indianapolis this year and hosted by the Indiana Guard Reserve. We would like all IGR members who can come and attend SGAUS Business Meeting, Luncheon and Dinners.  We will also need workers to help us facilitate this conference.  See attached Letter from COL Bowers.

”The true lovers of humanity are those who put on the uniform with regret, fight like all hell when they wear it, take it off with rejoicing, but hang it where it can be got at if necessary, and remember that they must still stand watch in civilian’s clothes, over the trophies of victory.”

Written in the fist issue of the American Legion Magazine, July 4, 1919. by Rupert Hughes.

Recruiting - Don’t forget that we need to recruit more members into the IGR.  We also must focus on Retention.
